Highlighting your commitment to support employees and clients who are experiencing abuse by training staff to become DA champions in your work place. Trained DA champions will ensure that support for staff is timely, safe and effective for employees experiencing domestic abuse as well as those worried about their friends and family.
In order to achieve the Pdap Domestic Abuse Gold Standard Award employers must demonstrate evidence of their commitment in five key areas,

- Staff Training
- Risk Assessing & safety planning
- Signposting to specialist services

Pdap will support you to embed general domestic abuse awareness training across your workforce, advanced training for your domestic abuse champions and support your development of a domestic abuse policy.
